I usually am really interested in the Oscars this year -I've barely seen anything so I (probably like the voters in the academy) will just go with the politics.
Heath Ledger in "Brokeback Mountain"
George Clooney in "Syriana"
Felicity Huffman in "Transamerica"
Catherine Keener in "Capote" or Michelle Williams - I'll go with Catherine Keener. Michelle Williams might not have paid her dues yet.
"Brokeback Mountain" Ang Lee for both best pic and director.
Crash will get best writing for original and Brokeback for adapted( capote maybe?)
Music should be interesting - will it be "In the Deep" from Crash? "Travelin' Thru" by Dolly Parton from Transamerica? or "It's Hard Out Here for a Pimp" from Hustle and Flow? LOL Should be interesting - I haven't heard any of them - but will go with transamerica. King Kong will win something for the for effects or something ... whatever.
I think the best part of the show this year will be Jon Stewart- He is going to totally be awesome!
